Pangea Organics was founded in 2001 by Joshua Scott Onysko from a simple concept: we and the earth are one, and in that oneness, the earth gives us everything we require to maintain our health, vibrancy, and youthful glow. By traveling near and far Joshua cultivated relationships with organic farmers who dedicate their lives and land to producing the most nutrient-dense, organic ingredients on the planet. He educated himself on how to extract the highest quotient of active components from each plant. This means everything created at Pangea is birthed from years of research and tireless testing. The result is a line of products that nourish you organically from crown to sole and are rich with the aromatherapeutic benefits of organic Essential Oils.

Pangea Organics is the first company in the world to use 100% Sugarcane Bio-Resin in all plastic tubes. In case you’ve never heard of Sugarcane Bio-resin, it is an alternative to petroleum-based polyethylene resin. Making this switch reduces the need for non-sustainable raw materials and helps lower greenhouse gas emissions. The new tubes are manufactured in a LEED Certified facility in the United States. They require no secondary packaging (like boxes), which creates a huge reduction in shipping components and paper use, and substantially reduces our carbon footprint.
When Joshua began Pangea Organics in 2001, going organic, vegan, and chemical-free was unconventional; now it's the gold standard. He is also working on making all of his brands plastic-free.
Joshua has been featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair, and The Wall Street Journal. He is a plant-based chef, self-taught perfumer, visual artist, and a sought-after public speaker. His speaking credentials include TedX, UCLA, and Cosmoprof. As an entrepreneur, Joshua has proven his mantra many times over that “the fringe predicts the future.” Each brand he creates stewards the fringe by leading with cutting-edge formulations that honor purity, people, and planet.
